I am interested in purchasing a Multiface II for sound cue playback in the Theater. We would like 16 channels of playback. I'm thinking about using a Presonus digimax FS as DA to add the other 8. If the theater wanted 16 channels without using adat, can one use two multiface's on the same machine?

Are there recommendations from the group with another RME solution to get the 16 channels?

Naturally, we are on a budget. The Multiface II, HDSPe, and Presonus fit the budget.

We have a Mac Pro 2.66 Quad Core, we use qLab or SFX (under bootcamp)
