Topic: HDSPe PCI question

Hello,

I?m interested in purchasing a Multiface II + HDSPe PCI card.

But I?m not sure which kind of slot needs the PCIe card. My motherboard (Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P) has these ones:

2 x PCI Express x16 slots (running at x16)
1 x PCI Express x16 slot (running at x8)
1 x PCI Express x4 slot
1 x PCI Express x1 slot
2 x PCI slots

Thanks!

Re: HDSPe PCI question

Any of the PCI Express slots should work.  A "PCI Express x1" CARD will work in any type of PCI Express SLOT (all the way up to 16x 2.0).  It is when you need to use, say, a PCI Express "x4" CARD (like a RAID card or a USB 3.0 card, etc) in a PCI Express "x1" SLOT that you would have issues...

cool

MADIface-XT+ARC / 3x HDSP MADI / ADI648
2x SSL Alphalink MADI AX
2x Multiface / 2x Digiface /2x ADI8
