Topic: The mysterious "small hardware modification" ? Old FF800's

I too have the crackles after latest firmware update!

1. If it is a "small hardware modification", can I do it myself, and how?
2. Or does it need a new PCB fitted?
3. If so, will my distributor have it in stock?

I can't really afford to part with it for long, but from what I have read here, the latest driver and FW will improve the performance with windows 7 x64?

Please check with your local distributor. They might be able to perform the modification so that the unit does not need to be sent to Germany.
