I sent you this email because I have a problem. Of course. And I don't find an answer in an other post but I didn't read everything.

I have a multiface 1 and I use it on a macbook pro (not the last version) with a pcmcia card. It works great.

Now I want to use it on my PC. So I bought an adaptor PCI-E like that :

I pluged it on the motherboard and I then I Plugged my multiface on it.

I install the last driver (3.08.3) and the last firmware.

The multiface is recognized by my PC. The red LED "Host" is shut off. I can open the mixer or the DSP settings page but there is no sound... I have some at the first tentative with the old drivers but the sound was very "bizarre". Like if the buffers didn't play in the right order... I don't if it's clear but it didn't work.

Now with the new drivers there is write "error" in the DSP window in I/O Box State but the red light is still off on the multiface. I tried with and without eletric plug but but nothing change.

I read something like "it can be the driver of my motherboard" ? Is it true ? Because it's dangerous I think.

I don't know what to do. Do you know this problem ? Or better : the solution !
