I'm using a HDSP Multiface box through PCI card, and it's until recently been fine...
For some reason now when i record, even on a single track with no effects (CPU load is like 1% and playback ASIO load is miniscule) soon as i start recording, there's spikes at approximately 1 second intervals that just make recording impossible - i get constant robotic interuption...

using the dpclat tool when not recording its all green but then goes up to between 4 and 8000u??

Ive tried going through components and disabling them but nothing seems to help (plus it used to be ok without any system changes)

using a quad core 3.59Ghz PC on winXP with 3gig of RAM.
driver version 2.94 and latest firmware update on card...

any ideas??
