Topic: Crazy LED flashing on ADI-648

Chaps, long time RME user here (since the original Hammerfall!) and I now have the shock of dealing with my first ever RME issue. Astonishing gear, so many cards, so many outboard boxes, first failure in a decade! :-)

Anyway, I have just about finished moving in to my newly built studio, and when I powered up the 648 this morning, all it managed to do was flash all the LEDs across the front panel on and off very quickly. Cycling the power, leaving it on for a while, turning it off for a while, nothing has seemed to fix it....

I am due to be starting my next film tomorrow, so could do with the rig working. Any ideas?

Sounds like the power supply failed.

Righty, new PSU installed, all is well with the world again! Good call Matthias.

Hmm, PC drivers are reporting 56 channel only, whereas ADI thinks it's 64... oh well, more headscratching to come yet then!
