Topic: High Pitch / Hiss noise coming from the soundcard under OSX

Hi,
I tried my fireface 400 on my friend's macbook yesterday and we were getting a hiss/high pitch noise coming from the soundcard.
I had the same problem under win7 and i had to use LEGACY drivers for my TI firewire chip, the ff400 works perfectly this way.

How can i use firewire legacy drivers under OSX(in the osx console log it says OHCI)? Do i have to use some kind of other firewire drivers?

Can i use another firewire driver under OSX ? That's really crazy, i don't understand why my soundcard is buzzing under osx(tried on another mac & hackintosh, always the same hiss...)
