Topic: Changing buffer sample size crashes all of my DAWs in OSX 10.6.3

heylo!

i'm using a Fireface UC with the latest firmware (v91) and driver (v1.21) for OSX.
i am running OSX 10.6.3

i started running into some problems recently while using one of my DAWs, Ableton Live 8.1.1,
it started to crash while running a VST instrument. i had been running using 64 samples with no problems,
but decided to maybe go higher to 128 or 256 and see if it made a difference.
when i tried to change the buffer sample size, Ableton Live crashed. i rebooted the system,
loaded Ableton Live with a blank project and again tried to change the buffer sample size.
again, it crashed.

ok, so then i tried to load Logic 9.1.1 with a blank project to see if i could change the buffer sample size in it.
it too crashed when i tried to change the buffer sample size.

could there be a problem with 10.6.3? CoreAudio? the RME drivers?

i found the new firmware (v102) and driver (v1.30) on these forums and it seems to have fixed it! :-)
