Topic: what is that hook in the back of the FF?

call me stupid but I have no clue what its function is. I also see it on other RME pieces of equipment.
And I can't find it on the instructions manual.

It's a roll bar for the Firewire connections - 'cause they go so fast....

100 read and nobody has the slightest clue of what this is for? This is a serious question just in case any mods are wondering. I'd really like to know.

It's there to wrap the power connection, so it's not accidentally removed.
