Topic: Madiface multitrack rec problems

I'm running a  madiface from a digico sd8 into a macbook pro, doing a 30 ch multitrack recording with logic 9, It worked okay for 3 months, lately I have noisy recordings, mac would crash halfway through the recording.

any suggestions, please

That's exactly the same I've found out if buffer settings are too optimistic: on the Mac side it would stop recording, on the Windows side it would issue clicks. My suggestion is therefore to increase buffer settings. See also http://forum.merging.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6269
