Topic: XP & Multiface new install

I have to re-install mein Computer,
I have a PCMCIA card.
1) do I have to withdraw the card before I install XP?
2) I can?t find my REM installation CD, which drivers should I download (2003 model)?

1) Yes. Aways install an OS without devices that are unknown to it.

2) In case you have not updated for some time you could use 2.94. The latest one (3.083) might require to flash update the firmware.

Thanks for the quick answer, Matthias !
I think the version 2.94 should be ok, I?ll soon install Ableton 8 but otherwise no updates, I don?t connect my laptop to the internet. And I don?t quite get what you mean by "flash update" !

Last question - or confirmation - I?m not so sure of where I?ll find the driver on the download page, it is it that one ?

Hi Matthias!
I installed the driver (w2dsp_294.zip), and after trying to set the latency, it tells me I need to download fut_win_dsp.zip, which I did, but after reading the readme, weary of possibly killing my card, I pressed neither "Ok" nor "update" as I am not sure it is the proper one, shouldn?t I try the 3.083 ?
I don?t do anything, waiting for your answer

Problem solved, uninstalled everything and installed the hdsp_wdm_3083.zip, it works without any flash update
