Topic: Signal LED always on! FF400

I'm having a slight problem with the Fireface 400, where the signal LED is constantly flashing even when there is no mic/instrument plugged in. Any insights as to what could be causing this issue and how to resolve it? It doesn't really bother me that much, but I would rather have a perfect FF400 wink

Thats normal if the preamplifier gain is turned up beyond about 50dB.
Even without anything connected to the Input the residual noise will then cause the signal LED to flash.

hey thanks for the reply! it was actually on a very low setting, but pushing it up did increase led activity, and then pushing it it all the way down resolved the flickering led issue.

Thanks! I just bought a used FF400 and I was having the same "problem" which is not a real one!

It's a fantastic unit, you'll love it! I've had mine for a few years after changing it from a FF800 and I'm still in love wink
