i've never posted here before but i've red many post that helped so i wanted to do the same.

i'm using a fireface 400 on a pc (asus p5wd / E6600 / 1GO Corsaire / 1394 TI / windows Xp 32 / Cubase 5).

last week my old nvidia 7600gt crashed, so i changed it for a brand new radeon hd 5750 (connect 3d).

since i had a lot of random drop error while i was recording or even mixing.

i'm using dual monitor and i noticed (after going crazy, looking for virus trojan, network, dvd drive, power etc..) that there's a bug when using dual monitor, not a single drop when using 1 monitor (as before).

but i needed this second monitor and i found a solution that worked for me.

in the advanced settings of my monitor i disabled the hardware acceleration and i unchecked "enable write combining".

hope that'll help

maybe next ati catalyst driver will fix this, until then...
