Topic: RME HDSP 9652 64 bit driver with Windows 7

Hello,

I am using RME HDSP 9652 with Cubase 5 64bit and Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

I have upgraded the firmware and necessary drivers for RME HDSP 9652. I have a doubt that RME is using 32 bit driver instead of 64bit. I got this from process explorer. The image is as below:

You can see that

hdsp32.exe * 32
hdspmix.exe * 32

I think perhaps windows 7 has taken 32 bit driver of sound card instead of 64 bit. Is this true?
This is my doubt only. Please clear it.

These two files are not the driver. It is the settings app and the mixer control. And there is no sense in having these in 64 bit, except total incompatibility. Same for all other manufacturers.
