Topic: ASIO output gives me *OVR in totalmix
As the subject says, if I use ASIO output in Winamp or Foobar2000 Totalmix shows the *OVR symbol above the VU meter every now and then, whereas DirectX output from both plays never does this. Is it in fact clipping via ASIO, or is it just warning me that it's close to max?
