Topic: Digi96 PST is using 10% cpu?

Hi,
is this normal, that the pst uses so much cpu (amd x2 3800)?
I don't remember such a high usage on my old mainboard (I switched from
nforce3 to amd 785g chipset). It's just the Asio driver that is causing the load, when the wmp is playing for example there's almost zero cpu usage.
Can anybody shed some light?

This is not a busmaster card. Therefore recording generates a noticable CPU load. ASIO usually means recording and playback run at the same time, even if you don't record to disk...

I put the PST in another pci slot yesterday, and now there's zero cpu usage in cubase
even when recording. HeadScratch :-)
