Topic: ADI-8ds channels 1/2 OUT not working. Using with FF800

Ok, I just got an ADI8-DS and hooked everything up to the Fireface800. I am running at 44.1k, syncing off the FF wordclock and using the ADAT outs/ins. I have the analog outs/ins routed to a patchbay to make use of outboard gear while mixing. The problem is I get signal on everything EXCEPT the 1/2 OUTS on the ADI8.  I checked the PB and totalmix of course, but it seems everything is as it should be. While running a signal via LOGICs in/out plug, I see signal on every out except 1/2 on the front of the ADI8... is there something I'm missing?

thanks or your help!

E.

Do you see a signal on the ADI's LEDs? How about the FF mixer?

I DO see signal in FF mixer, but nothing on the front of the ADI8.

Are there jumpers that I could check to see if they came loose during shipping?

Re: ADI-8ds channels 1/2 OUT not working. Using with FF800

No jumpers. The LEDs are digital, that means when they show no signal most probably there is no signal in the ADAT stream. So do you see the TotalMix level meters of the third row (bottom) active for ADAT 1 and 2?

meters in total mix show signal but nothing shows up on the ADI

Re: ADI-8ds channels 1/2 OUT not working. Using with FF800

Please feed the ADAT signal back into the FF (set clock mode to master). Do you see incoming ADAT on all channels in Totalmix?

Then send an analog input to channels 1/2 of the ADI and feed its ADAT output back to its own input (set clock to internal). Do you see the signal at 1/2?
