Topic: FF400 FW not recognize on macbookpro since 10.6.3

Hello dudes,

My FF400 FW is not recognized on my macbook pro since i upgraded to MacOs 10.6.3

I have tried with 3 different units, with no success....

Anyone experienced this ?

No driver, wrong driver, FireWire port blown...

Hi Matthias,

How could i have blown my firewire port ?
Is this possible with a FF400...??
Is there a way i can test my FireWire port without a external device ?
That might answer a lot of some questions i had in the past also..

The only way to check if the FW port is still ok is indeed to connect it somewhere else.
