Topic: more than 3 Firefaces?

Anyone know if it's possible to run more than 3 firefaces on a Mac Pro if i have another FireWire card installed so that 3 run on each firewire Bus?
would be great to know if the team tried it out before spending money and trying it myself wink

ah thinking now - i guess the mixer doesn't support more than 3 even if i can get the computer to.  hmm  I guess i can just get some adat breakout boxes or something!

Great thanks for taking the extra time to 3:40 me!

I ended up buying a ADI-8 DS

I now have 3 firefaces all hooked up Firewire and 1 ADI-8 DS.  All 4 units are optically connected via adat ports so i can send signals from wherever i want to wherever i want so that i can do some real-time effects to external effects racks from any input i want.

The way i have it set up now i still have room for 2 more ADI-8s and still be able to monitor everything in real time bringing the total (the way i have it set up) to 54 inputs (3X10 firefaces and 3X8 ADI-8)
