Dear all,

I'm about to purchase a new laptop which I will use with a few different RME cards connected with HDSP cardbus cards and I need you experienced guy's advice on what laptop to go for.

The Dell Precision M4500 looks very nice ( link ) but the question is, will it work? I am worried about compatibility issues with the soundcards and the chipsets in the laptop. Many years ago I had a lot of trouble getting a firewire card to work properly on a desktop computer, had to change firewire card 3 times before I found a working combination. I am not using firewire now but maybe there could still be issues?
