Topic: ground loop problem with PCIe AES
Are people still getting ground loop problem with this card, I thought it is ground-free transformer coupled! If there is no ground where would you get a ground loop?

Where did you read about ground loop problems with this card?
Someone just told me that ground free does not mean there is no ground, so I can still get ground loop problem.
Obviously there must be ground, otherwise no unit would pass any EMI, EMV, CE and whatever test. But the AES connection is ground-free as per the spec, using transformers.
So where is the ground? Is ground connected at pin 1 to the chassis in the card?
