hello all !
yesterday installed the ff 400 was was all working fine, today i couldnt work anymore, theres a a lof of cracks in german we called (Knaxen) the led light was kind of instabile can anybody tell me whats wrong !!!
i hear through my headphone.

the problem is also on standalone mode, without compouter.
maybe the ff 400 is defect ?
Seems like clocking trouble. Do you have some other device connected to ADAT, SPDIF or Word Clock? What setting is used for "Clock Mode" in the Fireface settings application?

i dont have any connceion with other systems
the Fire face 400 is connected with the computer and with the headphone thats all.
in the setting

by the way now theres no sound at all and the ff mixer doesnt show any signal
theres a light vibration on SIG Mic/line input 1
You need to make sure that, in Fireface Settings, Clock Mode is set to Master so that it runs off the internal clock.

and how i do this ? is there any tutorial about it ? im reallly about the fw
Have you read the FF manual, which explains clock/sync settings? If not, please do so. If you then have specific questions, do let us know.

Well, we don't know about your setup.
What FW chipset does what computer have, which OS, buffer settings?

im new in FW sound cards,

buffer setting
44.100
frequency multipler x1
note: i have this strange behaviour also without connecting the ff to the computer
i believe this thing is defect !!! i just bought for 2 days

yes both of power source i have the same behavour
i guess its defect too, when im back from holliday i will send it back
