Topic: USB or Firewire?

Hallo everybody,

I'm using a recent 17" Mac laptop iCore7. I need (quick to work) to buy the UC or the 400.
You guess my question is which one? Thanks for the reply. [justify][/justify]

Both work very good on the i7 MBP. Fireface UC provides a slightly lower latency and the new TotalMix FX mixer. Fireface 400 provides bus-powered operation.

I would recommend the UC. I have been running one of these for 24 hours a day for 3 months now (with 12 different operators using the system) and not one crash or USB driver failure. I have probably restarted the host machine about 3 times for other software upgrades during this time. Also apparently the UC also has more in common with the newer Babyface version of totalmix...when it arrives.
