Topic: DIGI9636/52 no signal / Cubase Studio 5

Hello,

I?ve got some problems with a DIGI9636/52, which I just bought on ebay.

1. I?ve tested the SPDIF and ADAT Input with Signals from a mixer and a Fantom G6
in Digi-Check and there is no signal.

2. I can?t assign an audio-track in Cubase Studi 5 to any ADAT In-/Output of the Card.
In the Configuration I can choose it as VST-Audiosystem, and there I also find
all in- and outputs, most of them are signed as inactive, just the first 2
in- and outputs are active.

I already installed the latest driver from this page.
The DIGI9636/52 is not configured as main audio-interface for Windows XP.
For me it?s the first time to deal with that kind of Interface and now I don?t know anything
else to check or try.

I?ve got a couple of days left to test, else I can send it back to the guy I bought it from.

I hope someone can help me.

Regards

Sebastian

I think I found the problem.
The eprom installed is signed as M52.
As I read it?s not possible to use this in a PC.
Does anyone knows, how much the eprom costs?

Yes, that's a problem. Contact Synthax for cost.
