Topic: will the raydat fit my pci-e slot?

hey folks,

i was wondering if the raydat would fit my pci-e slot because i think my graphics card is in the way.
i took a picture.
could you please take a look at it and let me know if the raydat will fit because i'm not sure whether the raydat has the "expansion board" above it.

thanks!

Should fit, the expansion card can be on either side, even a slot or two away from the main card. It attaches witha  ribbon cable.

ok thanks. one quick question, differnet, though: the raydat does not have a headphone monitoring function right? i mean you can't somehow connect your headphones directly to it and monitor everything? i would have to use the AIO for that right?

thanks again.

There is no D/A converter on the RayDAT. So you need some outboard D/A for phones, via SPDIF, AES/EBU, or ADAT. For instance, ADI-2 will give you mains outs and phones outs, as well as a pair of analog inputs, via SPDIF.
