I just got hold of a Macbook Pro Core i7, SSD 256GB, 8 GB Ram with Logic Pro 9, latest version.
Have used a Edirol FA-66 Firewire 400 in the past with my PC (worked allright). Can't get it to work properly with the Mac or
if it works, it's instable. Firewire soundcard cannot be found, errors etc etc. I suspect a driver problem, not easy to solve. Installed Rosetta on advice from Roland, but no solution found yet.
My external HD works on E-sata with a LaCie express card 3/4 (works very well).
I intend to add a Euphonix Artist setup (with motorised faders) working on network switch (RJ45).
Can you reassure me that the drivers supplied with Firefox 800 or 400 will make it work on a stable basis with this hardware
and soft?
What if any problems occure?
