Topic: Noise On MADI recording

I have some trouble with noise on my recording set-up.

I recorded 2 Madi lines, from 2 Digico stageracks, into 2 HDSPe Madi cards in a MacPro ( running Logic), from the madi out on the cards, onto 2 seperate macbookpro  (back up)

The recording on the Macpro, have this noise on all the tracks: Noise , the recording on the 2 seperate macbooks are noise free?

Any ideas to what happend?

This is not what I would call 'noise'. It is simply a defective recording. If you zoom into the waveform you will see that the data is interrupted regularly and samples are missing prod?cing invaild jumps in the waveform and the stutter sound modulation that you hear.

An explanation would be that the two MADI cards had not been in sync within the MacBook, because the two Stageracks also had not been in sync. That's why the recording of the single line did work.

The funny thing is,
I recorded for an hour, paused the recording in logic and resumed for another hour,not changing the set-up in anyway. But only the 2.half of the recording has the defective?
