Topic: Master Volume Knob?

Hi,

Can the "VOL" knob on the far right of the Fireface 800 be configured to control the levels of all analog outs? I want to have 6 active monitors connected to the analog outs but I want to be able to quickly control the overall level with one easy to reach knob.

If no, is there a "midi knob" that I can buy separately that can be configured to do so (and without a computer connected)?

The knob is only an analog volume control for the headphones output... MIDI is possible, see manual...

Unfortunately it looks even the smallest midi control surfaces have 100 knobs.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Well here's a DIP switch programmable rotary encoder to MIDI board:

All I would need is a part from mouser and a knob. But a DIY plastic box might look a little strange next to my fancy rack equipment.
