Topic: ASIO drain in cubase with Fireface 400

Since installing windows 7 ive been have massive asio probs in
cubase, ive turned the buffer up but with that i get more latency
(obviously). Anyone got any suggestions? or is this a driver issue?

There's no reason for you to have trouble with ASIO in Win7 - unless you're using a bad chipset (i.e. VIA). If you're using a card/onboard firewire interface with a TI chipset, you should be fine as long as you have your performance settings right...

This is an ASIO4ALL forum post about Vista - but the same applies to Win7. You should get great performance with a minimum of tweaks.
