Topic: HDSP driver installation problem

Hello Matthias, salut ? tous !!
I've from years now a Multiface and PCI Card on WinXP SP3 OS. I'm very happy with !!
Recently i download Digicheck to 5.3 version and ITU version. Happy to test Multichanel metering and marvelous surprise, loudness Metering ITU !!!
But impossible to work with, Input Device Setup menu have only Madi choice devices. I have no madi, only multiface with analog and adat or spdif I/O, but it don't appear in Input choices.
Is the Multiface too old for new Multichannel release of Digicheck  ?
PS : I came back to Digicheck 4.53 whitch still work fine.

Re: HDSP driver installation problem

Your driver may be too old. 3.084 is the current one from the website.

Re: HDSP driver installation problem

Thank for ur help,
i've found the 3.085 : hdsp_wdm_3085
I first flash the multiface with :  hdsp_wdm_fut.exe associated, process seemed ok (erasing, rewriting and message Done)
Then install drivers hdsp_wdm_3085, no problem, then i reboot.
When Windows open i first ear strange abnormal sound turning on different frequencies during 5 sec :roll, then abnormal short sounds were getting out the card and no normal sound from any soft.
Looking to DSP Settings i only have a warning message (no settings) : HeadScratch

"RME Hammerfall DSP mismatch!
This driver version requires new interface
firmware for enhanced functionnality
Please download the latest Flash Update....etc"

I've tried the link associated with this warning message, but i get  the same (hdsp_wdm_fut.exe) i used before.
Anyway i've done all the flash update and install drivers twice , but get same result. HeadScratch:(
I also tried the: fut_win_dsp win32 then new drivers for same result. fryingpan

I came back to 2005 version drivers w2dsp_294. This work well as usual except i can't use the digicheck 5.3 sad

My PCI Card is a Rev 1.8
Mother board ASUS P4C800 Deluxe
DAW: Nuendo + RME Multiface + Monitoring 5.1
all this working fine from years on Win XP SP3 (regularly updated).

If u have a link to the 3.084 version i can try this one too.
And if u have any solution else ?
Thank for ur help:cool:

Re: HDSP driver installation problem

You rebooted your PC, that's wrong. You have to COLD reboot, means completely power-off. So the new firmware was not activce.
