Topic: Just a few questions about using the Mutliface II with a Mac Pro

I bought the RME Multiface II of Ebay second hand off somebody and i have been holding on to it for a while. I just bought my Mac Pro and tried installing the HDSP PCI card but it wouldn't fit. i did some scooping and iv come to realized that i have to get the HDSPe PCI card. Is this so?

One 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon ?Nehalem? processor   
3GB (three 1GB) memory

Yes, of course. You'll need a PCIe card for the Mac Pro.

Yep.  Mr. Jobs decided to obsolete all PCI cards when Apple came over to the x86 (Intel) side.  Bad call IMNSHO...

On a positive note - you can probably sell the HDSP PCI on eBay for $150 and recoup part of Mr. Jobs' insistency to dictate your hardware needs :-)

PCI - May it live on and on in PC Ville :-P
