Topic: [FIREFACE 400] Blue screen and no audio - Windows 7

Hello. I have a problem with my Fireface 400, which occurs only with Windows 7, both 32 and 64. With Windows Vista, the problem does not arise.
I tried to install 7 and then install the audio driver, but the problem persists.
The drivers and firmware are the latest available version and windows is updated.


Sometimes a blue screen appears and the computer restarts. However, sometimes the blue screen appears but there is no sound anyway.
With Windows Vista, the Fireface 400 does not issue any kind.

Here's my configuration:

Intel Core Duo E8500 3.16GHz
4GB ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT

How can I fix?

Which driver have you installed exactly?

I have exactly the same problem as Ricky
Sometimes a blue screen appears and the computer restarts. However, sometimes the blue screen appears but there is no sound anyway.
blue screen concerns fireface.sys 64.

When I have sound, there are some "treble cracks" and with inscontancy, the fireface external modem disconnect from the computer -the red led "host" is red (and it's not my firewire cable)

With drivers and firmware latest available version (3.20) and windows is updated.

With an HP Pavilion dv-6 2130-ef, Intel Core i5.

I'm having these, too, and try hard to make them BSOD more reproducible.

Hi! The problem is the firewire card into the computer. Changed to a compatible with windows 7 the problem is solved. With less than 20 ? is the cart.
