Topic: fireface 400 and the great river preamp

Hi and thank you for a great product in the RME fireface 400. I happen to pick up 2 fabulous great river pre amps model me-1nv and I was wondering is it better to plug them into channel 1+2 or 3+4 or for the best practical purpose would 5+6 be a wise choice

Ideally you should use the rear panel inputs - these have the most direct connection to the A/D converter. But you can use the front panel inputs if you have some use for the extra gain stage.
