Hey RME folks,

We just got a couple UFX in stock and I could not resist opening on up to test sense we needed to test on our systems anyways.
The unit sounds fricking amazing at least from the headphone out. Don't have room to setup studio monitors on the tech bench.
The front panel control is pretty easy to use. Wish I had a MCU here to try with it.
Only had a chance to try the USB driver so far and seems to be working as well as FFUC which is good sense that will mean most likely all of our systems will work perfect with it.
Will be testing the firewire driver over the next few days depending on how long it takes for some one to buy it. :-P

Only general complaint I got is I wish you shipped it with some Total Mix presets. Might make it easier for some of us to get a good grasp of its capabilities.
Oh that and I'm lazy!

Can I use the Total mix FX as external effects inserts in Cubase or other application that have that feature?
Do I have to use an external cable or can it be down in loop back mode?
