Topic: Mystery: Digicheck-recorded file cannot be Digicheck-opened

Some files recorded using Digicheck and FF800 fail to
open, using the same equipment. Digicheck message is: This is not a wave file.
However, it most certainly is. And is named accordingly by Digicheck
when saving. (Samplitude agrees with my opinion. But I need
to use the files with Digicheck.) Any idea what to do or check?

Thanks, and regards, Klaus

Which DIGICheck version are you using? Would it be possible to send us a small single channel file, or just the header part, to examine?

Klaro, kommt morgen.

Re: Mystery: Digicheck-recorded file cannot be Digicheck-opened

Recording was using Digicheck 5.23, playback 5.0. 5.0 did obviously not understand the file
produced by 5.23. I installed 5.23 on the PC which was running 5.0 before. This configuration
(5.23 on both PCs) does work. Is it still useful to send a 5.0 file? Cheers, Klaus

Not, it is not useful. It would be more useful to update both systems to the current 5.32.
