Hello,

Has been tested the RME Fireface UC with the mainboard ASUS M4A77TD ?

It has the AMD 770/SB710 chipsets.

Same question about the mother Asus M4a785td-m Evo

It is very important for me; i am interesting to buy a RME Fireface UC and i have to be sure that it has good performance with this hardware usb controller.

ATI SB750 - OHCI USB Controller
ATI SB750 - EHCI USB 2.0 Controller

In the case that is not ok, what  pci usb card does work successfully?

AFAIK the RME USB devices will work best on the Intel ICH10 type USB controllers - but I'm a PCI guy and haven't even touched an RME USB box :-)  There are other variables beyond the chip itself, so just because someone has a working Babyface on a SB750 won't necessarily guarantee that it will work on any MoBo with a SB750...

A solution could be a usb card ( my MOBO has a free PCE 1x connector only) like this:

this is with a NEC chipset...
could it work? a idea about chipsets of usb card? or is the same situacion: "different set of hardware" that said our friend Randyman... in all case, thanks so much for reading.

THAT is an interesting question MK. I'd also be interested to know if that ^ would be a workable solution to those w/ questionable USB bus controllers.
