Topic: DIGI9652 in Asus P6T SE (i7/X58) motherboard?

Hi,

I want to move my DIGI9652 from the antiquated PC it currently lives in to my new PC, which has an Asus P6T SE motherboard with an Intel X58 chipset.

I've read some slightly alarming stuff about what can happen if you put a DIGI9652 in a the wrong sort of PCI slot (blue smoke!) so I want to be absolutely certain that it's safe before I try it.

Can anyone tell me how I can check if my DIGI9652 will work with this motherboard?

There is no risk of damage on PCs. However, you can mail me the card's serial number.

Tried this today and it's all working with no problems. Thanks for continuing to support such old hardware.
