Topic: FF400 Windows 7 64Bit - Disconnection Problems! HELP

every couple of hours my FF400 gets disconnected (the red light turns on, as if the fireface is not connected via firewire to the pc) and i need to reset (double switch it) the back panel button in order for it to work again.

Plus i can't get the firewire to work without it being connected via the firewire cable. the power supply has no influence over the FF. only the bus mode in the back panel works.

I got a new computer with win7 64bit and a texas instruments firewire card. all drivers installed and updated.

Help, Guys!

You could try installing the most recent Microsoft firewire driver to see if it solves your problem...

Go to the last post on this thread if you want to give it a try.

did that. hope it will solve at least one of my problems (the disconnection one).
but i still can't work with my FF through the power supply.
by the way, with my old pc i can do that which means that the problem does not lye on my FF i guess...
