Topic: Fireface 800 with Logic 9

Hi!

O got today my Fireface 800 . My Macbook pr0 2.4 G is new too, just 2 weeks old

Well I guess that I got the newsests drivers  and hardware too

Well I'd like to buy the Logc 9 but I've heard that there were a few problems with the compability.

Are there still problems with  this combination?

I don't know where you heard that.

I've had my FF800 since October of 2006. I've been using it with Logic 7, 8 and 9 without issue. It's one reliable piece of hardware.

Yes I know that FF800 rocks but look around in some forums. They talked about strange noises etc

You're talking about the Logic white-noise burst I guess?

Only had it once or twice with the 9.1.1 update (never before and not since) and I don't consider it a compatibility issue. A Logic issue maybe, but nothing to do with the FF800 itself.

Logic is a great platform, but it has a list of issues a mile long. None of them important enough to stop any good work/music from being made! wink
