Topic: Is it necessary to uninstall old drivers before installing 2.87?

I have driver 2.75 now,
Since I have also moved up to Osx 10.6 I would like to put in the latest driver (which I imagine fixes the midi plugin problem). Should I manually remove 2.75 or is it ok to just install as usual?

Hi,

what does the readme file say ?
personally I just install updates with OSX or Windows
if RME not mention something specific.

If you want to be on the safe side de-install 2.75 first as described here:
