Topic: POPS and CLICKS Suggestions/Weird buffer problem

FF 800. REAPER 64. Win 7 64. i7 950. 12 gig RAM.  TI chipset Legacy drivers.

1) When i use the 128 buffer I get a constant clicking sound.... its like a perfect pattern. If I change my buffer to a LOWER setting it goes away. It ONLY happens @ 128. WTF.

2) In general im getting intermittent pops and clicks @ 96. My CPU is @ like 1% so its not that. What can I do to solve this problem? Its REALLY frustrating. I cant record @ 256 because it feels like crap.

That seemed to fix everything. Thank you. I will do further testing but the weird 128 buffer problem is defiantly gone.

EDIT: while im here. how do you get total mix to stay open no matter what? i have tried everything and it always seems to minimize.
