Topic: fireface 800 and new macbook pro

Hello, I bought a new macbook pro late-model 7.1, and I would buy the Fireface 800.
There are compatibility problems with the Firewire 800 of the macbook? we will put a hard disk in the middle?

Now i'm using the multiface in g5 and it's great! I woul like to have the same stability even using all the channels...

Another questions, if I can: which is the most stabile rme card for my macbook???? babyface? firefaceuc? or fireface 800?I need to reco a drumkit, so... I need something stabile like multiface with express card... But i dont have express card...

The current Macbook Pro models do not have incompatibility issues with RME FireWire or USB devices. Only older models (early Unibody) have trouble with FireWire.

I have been using the FF800 on the latest macbook pro without any problems.
   Recording 20 ch live , no problem.
