Topic: HDSPe MADI + other HDSPe cards under OSX

I have a HDSPe MADI card in one Mac Pro and thought about combining it with another HDSPe card for more
external I/Os within Nuendo. I know it is possible, but would like to know some more specific things.
When the cards are combined in an aggregated device for core audio, does it have disadvantages like more latency or alike?
Are there any other problems that could arise on the driver side, what's about stability?
Thank you for answers.

This works well in principle and does not add latency per se. Much depends on the other card, though.
In the end, you can only try it out.

Thank you for the answer. of course I will try it out one time, but before juggling cards I thought it would be wise to ask.
The additional card will probably a HDSPe PCI card with DigiFace, because that are spare things laying around.
Any performance decrease to be expected with this combo? I know I can try it out ... but even then I have to rely on my system and don't
want to experience bad surprises while working for a client.
