Topic: Computer won't start with Hammerfall card connected

Hi

My computer doesn't start up when my Hammerfall card is connected to the motherboard. I've tried the to connect the Hammerfall to another computer and the same thing happens. What should I do?

Have you tried disabling the onboard audio in the bios.  Chances are there might be a conflict.  I'd start there.

Active onboard audio does not usually cause such issues...

Can you try the card in another PCI slot?

When this happens in two different computers then the card must be defective.
