Topic: faders move by themselves in TotalMix

Got this annoying problem:

I boot my IMac + FF400 and TotalMix appears. The first thing I do is pull the master output faders (A1 + A2, in my case) all the way down.

But then, as I

A) start my seq (Cubase 4.5) and
B) open any project in Cubase,

the faders reset themselves?? Sometimes I may have channel monitoring "on" on some projects and have an instant problem with feedback etc.etc.

What to do?

Problem solved. Totalmix opens "preset1" everytime something happens. I just changed the preset.

OK, so I was a little too optimistic: now starting Cubase doesn't affect the TotalMix master-faders but opening a project does. Anyone know what's up with that?

OK, found some threads. So it's a problem with these older versions of Cubase and one can work around it.
