Topic: Multiface II and Windows 7

Hi. I've been using my multiface 2 for almost a year on windows XP. I decided to upgrade to windows 7 due to some other software issues. Anyway I downloaded the drivers from the RME site, which by the way can someone point me to the exact ones so I can be sure? and re-installed the multiface yet my PC can't seem to find it, which means no sound.

Re: Multiface II and Windows 7

I am having the same issue. I inherited a multiface 2 from our lab but when I connect it to the firewire port in my laptop, windows 7 doesn't see it. I tried installing the device driver (Also not sure which one to install as the download site does not explicitly mention multiface II) but nothing happens.

Re: Multiface II and Windows 7

The Multiface can not be connected to Firewire. This could in fact damage the unit. You need an RME interface card (Expresscard or Cardbus).

Current HDSP(e) driver is v 3.085, available here: http://www.rme-audio.de/drivers_hdsp
