Which way is the best to turn off the babyface? Just quit USB settings and Totalmix FX and then unplug the USB cabel?
The instrumental High Z jack, why is it TRS jack, when it is HIgh Z which almost always is TS jacks?
Could it work to connect for example and external microphone preamp to the High Z jack? Or then the signal will be to hot?

1.) Safely Remove Hardware in the OS.
2.) It is TRS, but only TS connected (unbalanced). The term TS has become quite uncommon these days...

1.) i can not find a symbol of the Babyface anywhere and choose safely remove hardware. it doesnt show on the desktop. but it works great. but where is it?
2. ) okey i understand! i instead plug external preamps via the XLR jacks, with gain set to zero.
1) This is not BF specific, it's a feature of the operating system. You'll find an icon in the taskbar, bottom right, on a Windows PC.
