Topic: ASIO holds the outputs
When i start Ableton Live, the ASIO driver owns the AN1/2 outputs so i can't listen to other applications sound outputs in the same time.
Is there any solution for this? ( Babyface, TotalmixFX .924 )

Only one ASIO application can access an ASIO device at the same time. Disable an ASIO device in the ASIO setup panel to free it for other Windows applications. Please search the forum for ASIO multi client operation to get more information.

Hi,
Yes by routing different audio channels in different app's
don't use same audio channels
app 1: use AN 1&2 In/Out turn off other audio channels in app
app 2: use AN 3&4 In/Out turn off other audio channels in app
etc
then do some routing in TotalMix for listening back example SPDIF or other device
hope it helps
regards S-EH
Thanks S-EH, now it's working flawlessly
i was waiting for this card since May, RME quality!
Ah lovely - I have app 1 coming out through AN3/4 and app 2 AN1/2. .
Is there any way I can feed the output of app 2 from AN1/2, into the input of app 1 AN3/4?
Many thanks
Ah, plus I just realised that you can't monitor Analog3+4 in the DIGICheck Spectral Analyser, which makes the post before even more important.
If the signal routing is not possible, could this (or all output monitoring) be added to the the Analyser?
