Topic: sample rate greyed out in Windows 7/64

Hi

I work with 48KHZ sample rate exclusively and have a strange thing going on:

Even without Cubase5/64 or VSL pro running, the sample rate is always greyed out in the fireface control panel. Why could this be?

I do not currently have the fireface synced via SPDIF or ADAT.

note:  In windows 7/64bit all RME devices are disabled in the windows system.

Anyone?

I assume that your are referring to the 3.xxx driver.
The sample rate is grayed out when there is an asio App still running. You cannot change the samperate within the settings. Please use you ASIO App to change it or stop it first.
If you try to change the samplerate while WDM (for example windows media player) is playing, the playback will stop.

Found out the problem.....I had Digicheck set to start with Windows and this was causing the greyed out sample rate in Fireface settings.
