Topic: Fireface 400 Windows 7 64 bit

Hi

Just recently installed Windows 7 64 bit and I'm having major problems getting my fireface 400 to work. First off I kept getting a problem with the firewire card, windows was telling me it couldn't start. After looking around I found out that forcing it to use the legacy driver it removed the warning and appears to work. My problem now lies with getting Windows 7 to see the fireface. When I plug it in I only get the red light on the host and windows doesn't detect or mention anything about seeing it. I find this very odd at it all worked flawless under windows XP.

Hi thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately there is no device with a yellow warning symbol. I have gone through everything in the device manager and there is nothing there, it is like Windows 7 cannot see the fireface.
